Court Booking Rules
- Members can book courts 14 days prior from 7 am. In other words, when booking to play 14 days in advance the new booking sheet only becomes available from 7 am -- all other playing times within 14 days can be booked 24/7.
- Members should select their playing partner / opponent's name to show on the booking sheets.
- Maximum 2 peak-time bookings per member per day.
- Maximum 4 peak-time bookings per member per calendar week.
- Peak times are from 5.45 pm to 8.45 pm (Monday - Sunday).
- Court booking fees are £4 per 45 minutes at all times.
- Member Accounts
- Each Member has an account within the booking system and must have credit in order to book a court.
- You can purchase credit (£20 minimum) with any credit/debit card when logged into this website.
- Your transaction will be securely processed by Stripe.
- Members can share booking fees by transfering credit to each other within the system.
- On the day playing, each member will receive a Booking Reminder email message which, for the "playing partner(s) / opponent(s)", contains a link to share the cost of the booking fee paid by the member who booked the court.
- Members can also use the facility to Transfer Credit any time when logged into the system.
- Late-Cancellation Policy - Peak times only:
- When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel as soon as possible so that others may use the court.
- There is no late-cancellation charge when the booking is cancelled more than 24 hours prior to start time.
- When a peak-time booking is cancelled within 24 hours prior to start time, the system automatically charges a £1 late-cancellation (instead of the booking fee), however, this charge is automatically refunded if the same court and start time is re-booked.
- Automatic Light Controls
- The court lights will automatically switch on at the reserved court time and will remain on for the duration of the booking.
- If there's no booking before, the lights will go on 5 minutes before the actual start time and, if there's no booking after, the lights will remain on 5 minutes after the actual end time.
- If the court is booked consecutively, the lights will remain on continuously.
- Extra minutes (at £1 per 10 minutes) can be added at the touch screen "kiosk", provided you have sufficient credit in your booking system account.
- Please be sure that the time your purchase does not overlap the next reservation, which will take precedence, as charges for extra light-time are non-refundable (the touch screen will warn you if there is already a booking which overlaps the amount of time you want to purchase, but it will not stop you from purchasing overlapping light-time).
- Members must have credit in their booking system accounts in order to purchase extra light time.
- Please note you will need to know your PIN in order to use the kiosk to purchase light time.
- GUESTS
- When playing a Guest, members must select the "£3 GUEST FEE" as the playing partner/opponent to show on the Booking Sheets.
- The system will automatically charge the £3 Guest Fee to your booking system account.
- If you're no longer playing a Guest, you can change your playing partner/opponent to a member, and the Guest Fee will be removed.
- This can be done when you book the court or any time before playing.
- No Guest may play more than 6 times per year.
- Please be sure to enter guest and member names in Visitor Book at club next to light meters.
- Members with outstanding Guest Fees must top-up their booking system accounts with an online credit/debit card transaction prior to booking more courts.
